| OperaDelaware brings its talent and BIG VOICE ENERGY back to Freeman Arts Pavilion for a Pop-Up Opera performance! Whether you're a lifelong opera fan or a curious newcomer, OperaDelaware has something for everyone. You'll hear recognizable melodies from opera's most beloved and timeless stories, and English translations will be provided so you'll understand every word! OperaDelaware is the 11th oldest opera company in America, and this May you can be a part of a world-premiere opera in the First State! OperaDelaware will present Derrick Wang's "Fearless," a new American opera that tells the story of Hazel Ying Lee, trailblazing World War II aviator and founding member of the Women Airforce Service Pilots. Experience her remarkable true story as it takes flight this May at The Grand Opera House in Wilmington! For more information, visit operaDE.org Tickets are $20 plus fees.
